Hyatt Moth Collection

David Hyatt of Tucson donated approximately 1500 specimens of Saturnid and other moths and arthropods to the International Wildlife Museum in November of 2003. About half the collection consists of hand-reared silkmoths of the family Saturnidae. There are significant wild-caught collections of moths from Arizona and from the eastern United States. The collection includes a sample of an undescribed form of Eupackardia calleta from near, Ajo, Arizona.

Dave Hyatt is an avid amature naturalist. He was one of the founding members of the Tucson Herpetological Society.
