Explore the fascinating world of natural history at the museum. The museum offers a close-up look at over 400 insects, spiders, birds, and mammals (including prehistoric). Travel from the equator to the poles learning about the unique relationships, adaptations, and habitats of the world’s diverse wildlife.
Self-guided Tours: Choose a self-guided tour and explore the museum with a standards-based Discovery Safari Field Guide (grades K-2 or 3-5). Enjoy the freedom of exploring at your own pace along with the ability to ensure your students are getting the educational experience you want them to get.
Conservation Science Adventure Tours: Allow a knowledgeable docent or museum educator to lead your group through the museum and share highlights of each exhibit area with a live animal encounter at the end.
Prices:
Self-guided Tours: Group rates (for groups of 10 or more) are $3/child, $5/senior citizen or military (w/ID), and $7/adult. One chaperone is admitted free for every ten children.
Conservation Science Adventure Tours: Group rates (for groups of 10 or more) are $4/child, $6/senior citizen or military (w/ID), and $8/adult. One chaperone is admitted free for every ten children.

To make a reservation, click here or call 629-0100 ext 385. Reservations are required at least one week in advance to obtain group rates.
Lunches: Groups are welcome to bring sack lunches or snacks. There is seating for 80 in the dining area. The Gift Shop sells snacks such as chips, popcorn, drinks and ice cream. Lunch boxes can be left in the dining area while you tour.
Movie Theater: The movie theater plays wildlife films on the hour. You can see a current schedule here or if you would like to request a specific movie for your group, you can choose from this list.
